On September 21, 2023, Associate Professor of AIU Nivedita Das Kundu took part in the ESCAS conference and seminar at KIMEP University in Almaty. The professor also gave a guest lecture at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on the topic “Russia-Central Asia Relations”' and “Kazakhstan as SCO President”. Since Kazakhstan is chairing the SCO this year, it was an important discussion for undergraduate and graduate students from different faculties of KazNU, who all joined the discussion and lectures and enthusiastically wanted to learn more about the SCO topic. 

In addition, she met with the dean and faculty of the university. This interaction provided an excellent opportunity to represent our university and attracted local and international students. Students from Bangladesh and Afghanistan showed interest in applying to the AIU, and also communicated separately to understand the possibilities of admission of foreign students in September 2024.
