International Relations Office employees, Dinara Egemberdieva and Kyzzhibek Sydykova participated in workshop devoted to the topic “Internationalization of Central Asian HEIs” organized by American Councils for International Education (ACCELS) in Tashkent, May 16-17.

During the workshop participants collaborated greatly with Kazakhstani, Uzbekistani and American universities. Among U.S. HEIs were outstanding universities like Mississippi State University, Washington State University, University of South Caroline, University of Arizona and other representatives of U.S. government bodies.

As Internationalization Strategy was the main subject if the event, the participants learned deeply about it. American universities representatives presented about their programs and projects. It was found out and highly motivated that Central Asian universities can draft and propose projects within ACCELS to have closer cooperation with U.S. institutions.

We returned highly motivated to encourage project writing in our university and once more convinced that Internationalization Strategy is top priority for the HEIs.
