September 19, 20, 2019, the Ala-Too International University hosted a seminar on the topic “Student-oriented education: the participation of students in quality assurance” with the participation of an invited EU expert, Professor Sergey Peshkun, organized by the National Erasmus + Office in Kyrgyzstan.

The seminar aims to strengthen the role of students in university management and curriculum development.

The expert acquainted the participants with the methodology for organizing students' independent work, involving students in quality assurance activities. During the workshop, activities were carried out in small groups on practical assignments for the organization of student-centered learning.

The event was attended by representatives of universities of the Kyrgyz Republic, responsible for the quality of education and the heads of educational departments.
